New battery and alternator, still no charge?

2001 Ford Taurus

So Wednesday morning when it was like -10 i go out to start my car and it won t start. Charge it up and start it and notice the battery light is on.

I get it juiced up enough to take it to advanced Auto and both the alternator and battery are deader than door nails.

I replaced Both parts this morning, went to drive to work tonight and the first thing I notice is the battery light is no longer coming on, yay! But now its not coming on at all, even when you first start the car, nor are half my dash lights (like one half of the speedometer is lit, the other half isn t)

I had to get to work so I didn t pay it any attention. About 2 minutes into my drive all my dash lights start flickering, and the minute I pull in to work it dies.

I am at a loss, what else could it be? I checked the fuses and they are all good.
