Car is making creaking noise?

I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SE and it s been making a creaking noise when turning or hitting bumps/driving rougher roads. It s been to the mechanic a few times for the power steering recall and a damaged hub bearing and wheel due to hitting a pot hole. I was told by one mechanic that it needs new ball joints and lower control arms. Should I get a second opinion or is that the main cause of this noise? I recorded it and can send upon request.
