Why are my rear brake linings wearing out faster than my front ones?

I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta. It has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes and is front wheel drive. I always pull my parking brake up to its fullest extent when parking the car, as stated in my owners manual. Went in for an oil change today, and my rear linings are at 6mm whereas my front is at 10mm. What would causes this difference in wear?
Added (1). Thank you guys so much! It actually says on the paper that 2mm or more is excellent for drums and 5mm or more is excellent with disc brakes. And when I had my oil changed at 5000 miles (when the car was practically new), the rears were at 7mm. So it turns out that they aren't wearing out faster, just have lower mm since they're different types of brakes. Thanks everyone!
