I'm wanting to trade in my lease for another lease. For my first two leases, I was not picky with the color and took what the dealership had in stock. This time, I decided to get the color I wanted, even though it wasn t in stock. The dealership (it is a Ford dealership if that makes a difference) has one on order, but it is not expected in until mid-may. I am over in milage and would like to cut it down since I am just going to pay off the milage, so they said they would just do a dealer trade with another dealership for the car I want. I was told I would get a call back on Monday with the progress, which is fine, but out of curiosity since I have never done this, typically how long does it take? Has anyone had any experiences with a dealership swap through Ford before?
