Took my merc to an unnamed national drive thru lube place and upon leaving noticed that the motor seemed labored on acceleration. When I got where i was going I checked the level and it was easily 2x above the "full" Mark on the dipstick. I couldn't get home to drain some and they wouldn't do it for me, so I ended up driving easily 30-40 miles with at least 2-3 extra qts.In the motor. It did not look foamy on the dipstick and no weird noises so i assume it's okay, I need to drain a little more still to make it the right level, do you think I avoided too much damage?
