Buying this 2011 ford escape vs 2014 ford escape?

Im in a lease with toyota and i have 1 more year left on the lease and i want to get out of the lease because im not wanting to keep the car. I found a used 2011 ford escape for 13,790. Its in great condition and only has 37,000 miles on it but again it is a 2011 car and its about to be 2016. The 2011 ford also comes with gap and the platnitum coverage of 75,000miles. I also found a 2014 ford escape for 19,990 and its used with just 9,000 miles on it. This ford comes with gap and a 100,000 mile coverage. I'm just trying to decided if i should keep looking for better deals or choose from one of these. Also i have a negative appraisal value from my current lease car which is around 4,000 but i think i can work that out or get it lowered.
