Best car for under $10,000?

I am looking for a car under 10 grand give or take 1k. I would like it to acceleration quickly (preferable under 7 seconds 0-60). Here is a list of examples, but I want some more ideas. Keep in mind not all of these are in my budget, and I also want at least 10mpg and a car that isnt a fortune to repair. My job is currently minimum wage at 8.50 an hour, but I have to 10k in cash for the car.
