I ordered a replacement running board for my 2003 Ford Explorer but can I back out if the Ford Repair Shop has the part in stock?

A neighbor offered to buy my car as is. I already ordered the used replacement running board and the dealer got it in stock but I know the cost of the running board (used) is $300.00 but I'm tempted to sell the Ford XLT AS IS for about twice or more then the blue book price. I always maintain my vehicle and I bought my last Exporer XLT from this dealer ship and plan on buying the next Ford vehicle their too but I feel like a rat telling the dealership I changed my mind. I know their will be an added labor cost to install this used running board but with all good conscience can I just tell the Ford Dealership repair shop that I changed my mind? I feel awful backing down on my word but since I got this offer to sell my 15 year old Ford XLT at twice or more BLUE BOOK price what should I do?
