1999 Ford Explorer Help?!

OK so My truck wouldn't brake or go while driving on the freeway then it started shaking and turned off. I checked the water and oil and it has gas. Now i try to turn it on and it does but then it shakes and turns off. I think it is the battery but If you have any idea what it could be please help.
